BASEL TO AMSTERDAM

Day 1 | Zurich, Switzerland. Basel. Embark. You will be met at Zurich Airport by your Scenic Tours Representative who will personally greet you and arrange your transfer to your luxury Scenic 'Space-Ship' in the Swiss town of Basel. Tonight enjoy a welcome reception with your fellow travellers. (D)

Day 2 | Strasbourg, France. Scenic FreeChoice (1) famous for its historical centre, enjoy a guided walking tour of Strasbourg; or (2) wine tasting in the pretty Alsatian village of Mittelbergheim; or (3) ‘Shop with a Chef’ on your visit to a local food market including tastings; or (4) step inside the setting of the Hansel and Gretel fable and tour the beautiful Black Forest. Day 3 | Mannheim, Germany. Scenic FreeChoice (1) take a guided tour of the romantic and picturesque cityscape of Heidelberg including a visit to the magnificent Heidelberg Castle and fascinating baroque style old town; or (2) visit the unique Technik Museum in the charming river-side town of Speyer, and see various displays of masterpieces of technology unable to be found anywhere else. SCENIC ENRICH Be an invited guest of an impeccable baroque-period palace for an exclusive classical concert and cocktail event this evening. (B,L,D)

Day 4 | Rüdesheim. Koblenz. Board the ‘Winzerexpress’ to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum for a guided visit before a cable car ride to the Niederwald Monument. Cruise the spectacular Rhine Gorge before our arrival to Koblenz. SCENIC SUNDOWNERS Board a cable car to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress where you’ll enjoy an exclusive cocktail reception with views overlooking Deutsches Eck and Koblenz. (B,L,D)

Day 5 | Koblenz. Scenic FreeChoice (1) enjoy a tour of Koblenz; or (2) take a tour of Cochem including a visit to Reichsburg Castle. This afternoon we cruise the Rhine into Cologne. (B,L,D)

Day 6 | Cologne. Enjoy a guided walking tour of Cologne this morning. Enjoy an afternoon of cruising to Amsterdam. (B,L,D)

Day 7 | Amsterdam. Scenic FreeChoice (1) canal cruise through Amsterdam; or (2) travel to the seaside village of Volendam, stopping also in Edam to sample the delicacies of its namesake. Captain’s Farewell Dinner on board this evening. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Amsterdam. Disembark. After breakfast disembark your Scenic ‘Space-Ship’. A Scenic Tours Representative will assist with your transfer to Amsterdam Airport. (Please book flights to depart after midday). (FB)
