There is a totally new ship design that offers such amenities as an indoor swimming pool with retractable roof (Don't forget... swimming is a great way to get over jet lag, too.). In the evening, the pool area transforms into a state-of-the-art cinema. In addition to the main restaurant, there will also be al fresco dining in the Terrace restaurant for lunch and light snacks in lieu of going to the dining room in the evening.

All ships offer a new type of cabin (designed to replace the traditional French balcony staterooms found on other ships) to enhance your river cruise experience. The cabins are called "Panorama Balcony Suites" and each offers indoor balconies (except for the riverview staterooms). These indoor balconies have a decked area with a really cool (No pun intended.) open-air system — At the touch of a button, the upper half of the cabin's floor-to-ceiling window lowers out of sight to provide a full, open-air, panoramic view of the passing landscape. The bottom half of the window stays in place to provide a safety railing.
